Primitives the internet never shipped.
Snugnut ships 70+ services for agents. Every one is a wheel the industry keeps reinventing, or renting back to you a dozen vendors at a time. Snugnut delivers them in shapes agents already know, stripped of the friction, and machine-payable with x402.
What is Snugnut?
70 services meant for agents to consume for any purpose. We call it "soft-infra."
Each service is shaped like a system the agent already understands - a queue, a ledger, a rate limiter, a leaderboard - but arrives without the parts that make infrastructure slow to adopt. No project to create, no roles to attach, no console to learn, no capacity to plan.
This matters most for a new kind of caller. Agents do not read onboarding guides or wait for a human to provision an account - they read a schema and make a call. Every service here publishes its own OpenAPI description, answers in the same shape, fails in the same shape, and is mirrored by the snug command line.
Data & State
9 servicesKV Store
JSON key-value storage with TTL, tags, search, counters, and merge patching.
Reach for it when you need user preferences, feature flags, cached computations with TTL, view/like counters, tagged content metadata, scratch state for agent sessions.
$ snug kv set player/42 '{"level": 7}'{ "key": "player/42", "value": { "level": 7 } }Blob Storage
File storage with signed URLs, quotas, and public serving.
Reach for it when you need avatars, PDFs, videos, generated reports - any binary asset that needs temporary shareable download links or per-user storage accounting.
$ snug blobs upload ./map.png --publicuploaded blb_9Kd2 1.4 MBurl /public/blb_9Kd2.pngConfig
Read-only cached project configuration.
Reach for it when you need operational debugging - confirming which configuration values the server is actually using for a project and environment, checking whether a Doppler change has landed, and pushing a change through immediately instead of waiting out the cache.

}Distributed State
Shared state with compare-and-swap and distributed locks.
Reach for it when you need leader election, singleton cron jobs across replicas, deploy/rollout phase flags that several workers read and update, checkpoints that must survive a crashed holder, any read-modify-write on shared state that must not lose updates.
Compare-and-swap, or block on a distributed lock.
ECS
Entity component system with schemas, queries, systems, and a coordinator.
Reach for it when you need game worlds, agent or physics simulations, device fleets - anywhere many objects share typed state shapes that you query by shape ("all entities with Position and Velocity") and mutate with optimistic locking.
Entity 7f21
Systems
I18n
Localization with fallback chains, plurals, publishing, and experiments.
Reach for it when you need app and game UI strings, agent-facing copy with per-locale tone metadata, translator workflows where developers keep release control, copy A/B tests, missing-translation tracking.
| Locale | Key | Value |
|---|---|---|
| en-US | cart.empty | Your cart is empty |
| fr-FR | cart.empty | Votre panier est vide |
| ja-JP | cart.empty | カートは空です |
Live JSON
Real-time collaborative JSON documents over WebSocket.
Reach for it when you need shared application state that several clients edit and watch - collaborative settings panels, live dashboards, game or agent blackboards, any JSON blob where "someone changed it" must reach other clients instantly.
Remote Config
Environment-scoped configuration with inheritance and targeting rules.
Reach for it when you need feature flags and A/B tests, dev/staging/prod settings that mostly share values, progressive rollouts, any configuration whose changes need validation, an audit trail, and one-command rollback.
| Environment | Flag | Value |
|---|---|---|
| production | new_checkout | off |
| staging | new_checkout | on |
| dev | new_checkout | on |
Vault
Time-locked attestations with multi-signature and lottery reveal.
Reach for it when you need sealed-bid commitments revealed after close, embargoed announcements, contest answers published at a deadline, tournament strategy escrow until the match ends, vesting secrets released on a cliff.
Messaging & Realtime
1 servicePubSub
Capability-scoped publish/subscribe channels with grants and rooms.
Reach for it when you need real-time event fanout, live dashboards and tickers, cross-client signals ("refresh now"), tailing events during development - anywhere losing a message is acceptable.
A catalog that keeps growing.
Point an agent at the reference, or make the first call yourself.
